Mosaic courses and workshops in Venice, Italy
We both possess the Master Mosaic's diploma, obtained only after the successful completion of three years of study at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli – the only legally recognized mosaic training institution, and participated at the specialization course, reserved only at the six best students each year.
OUR STORY
Originally opened in Spilimbergo in 2014 by two Master mosaicists, the studio moved to Venice two years later. It is now located in the Castello district, a few steps away from Saint Mark's Square and the Arsenale, where they make Italian mosaics by hand. Alessandra Di Gennaro and Romuald Mesdagh founded it after meeting at the Scuola Mosaicisti in Friuli, where they obtained their title. Their creations are made exclusively on commission with great care and attention to detail, using the best Murano glass and marbles selected from around the world. Each creation is treated according to the tradition of craftsmanship, in order to guarantee the highest quality. The workshop produces portraits, decorative and architectural elements, entirely made to measure.
