About the portraiture's workshop

The portrait! One of our favorite subjects! You will learn all the steps and tricks that will help you create a beautiful contemporary mosaic portrait! Come and benefit from our experience and knowledge in creating contemporary and original mosaic portraits! In this workshop, you will experience all the rules and tricks of the contemporary technique created by the students of the Spilimbergo school. You will learn how to manipulate the hammer to create the tesserae that give the inimitable look of the school's mosaics.You will learn how to mix colors, materials and shapes, creating the most modern andamenti.A short theory lesson will be given for each important step of the creation of your week. Designed for advanced students, participants should be familiar with smalti and have experience with the hammer & bold. Students work from a pre-selected portrait to focus on learning design techniques and material applications.
