General conditions

In this document I will be happy to illustrate the Terms and Conditions governing the online sales contracts on this site (www.artefactmosaicworkshops.com) of the teaching services / mosaic courses proposed by me in my studio, or these contracts stipulated between me (Romuald Mesdagh) and you (User, Buyer, Customer, Consumer). Before making any purchase, I ask you to read and fully accept these conditions. These conditions may change over time, so I suggest you periodically consult this page. Acceptance of these conditions is deemed to have been made at the successful completion of payment for the desired mosaic course.
Online purchase agreementThe online sales contract is a remote contract; has as its object services (teaching); is made between you (consumer / buyer) and me (Romuald Mesdagh); takes place within a system organized by me making prevalent but not exclusive use of remote technologies such as the Internet.Unless otherwise agreed, all contracts will be concluded through your access to the site www.artefactmosaicworkshops.com where following the proposed procedures (which generally follow this path: choice of the mosaic service / course, insertion in the cart, insertion of personal informations , entering the billing address, entering the payment data, confirming the payment) you will conclude the contract for the purchase of the mosaic service / course.

How to purchase

The purchase procedure will take place in English. On the website www.artefactmosaicworkshops.com you have different types of mosaic services / courses to choose from. Each mosaic service / course has its own card that describes it. Once you have selected the mosaic service / course of your interest, you can choose the dates of your preference from the drop-down menu under the description. Through the "Add to cart" / "Buy now" button this will be loaded into the "Cart", page where the details of the selected course are summarized and where you can proceed for the "Checkout".Proceeding with the "Checkout" to complete the order, you will be asked for a series of Personal Informations necessary to conclude the sales contract for the service: email, name, surname, address, city, country, post code, telephone, payment information ( card number, expiry date, security code). By clicking on "Pay and book your course", the payment and booking of the mosaic service / course will be made, with the conclusion of the contract. I remind you that payment is secured by SSL Secure Shopping, and that in no case will I be able to personally see or receive your debit / credit / prepaid card information. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order from me with the relevant information and details, which you will need to keep. In case you encounter problems in the payment, I invite you to write to me at artefactmosaic@gmail.com. If you are unable to make the payment on my site and still want to book the mosaic service / course, you can pay the amount by bank transfer to my current account. If you have to cancel the course, read the chapter "Cancellation by the buyer / consumer". Before the course you will receve by email the sketches from which you can choose one to make during the course.

Currently professionals

Amateur or professional consumers The courses offered on the websiteare designed for an amateur consumer / buyer, without specific formation in the field of mosaic. If you have a professional level in the mosaic discipline or you are the owner of a mosaic workshop / studio, or you are a mosaic teacher there is a page dedicated to professionals with a contact form where you can tell me what knowledge you want to deepen.Based on your wishes, I will organize a mosaic course suited to your needs, and based on the characteristics necessary to create the personalized course, I will calculate the cost and communicate it by email as a proposal, which you can accept or reject.The distinction between amateur mosaicists and professional mosaicists is essential to focus and make the teaching program as appropriate as possible to each category, to successfully achieve the desired result.In any case, if you are a professional you cannot access amateur courses.

Services and availability

Each of the mosaic services / courses that you find on my site has a defined number of participants, this means that once the available places are sold-out, it will no longer be possible to buy / book the course, regardless of my will. In this case you can send an email to artefactmosaic@gmail.com to agree on a different date or ask to be notified if a place becomes available. I will be happy to meet your needs.
Obligations of the buyer / consumer: When you become a buyer / consumer, you accept all the clauses of this "Terms and Conditions" document. I inform you that it is forbidden to enter false, invented or third party information in any field of the site. In fact, the personal data that are requested must be exclusively your personal data.It is forbidden to falsify one's professional status. It is forbidden to buy / book an amateur mosaic service / course if you are a professional, and vice versa.
‍Responsibility of the owner: I (Romuald Mesdagh) am not responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use that may be made by third parties of credit cards and other means of payment when the payment is made. In fact, the payment process is automated and online, so in no way can I get to know the credit / debit / prepaid card numbers.
